acer 3634笔记本电脑，去哪里安装linux显卡驱动？
现在是分辨率是1024*768 变形的很厉害！
求如何可以变为1280的宽频

作为ACER第二款4999机型，配置上CPU升级到赛扬M 380(1.6GHz 1MB二级高速缓存，400MHz前端总线)，256M DDR内存和40G硬盘都没有变化，依然搭配COMBO光驱，集成GMA900显示芯片。


要用什么驱动？

if you do not have a unique graphic card in your box(I just have an Intel 945g in my Acer5602), you can use the 915resolution to modify the display mode of the Xorg. Else you should download your graphic driver from you vendor or manufacturer for linux.

1)install 915resolution through the Snaptic Package Manager

2)use command "sudo /softwarepath/915resolution -l" to get the display mode of your system

3)use command "sudo /softwarepath/915resolution <mode#> 1280 800" to modify. the mode# is the line number of the first resolution your system can not display. suggest you begin from the 16bit.

4)add this line "sudo /softwarepath/915resolution <mode#> 1280 800"to bottom of /etc/init.d/bootmisc.sh to enable automatic modifying when you bootup

5)reboot the box.
