不小心我把 herd 2硬盘引导包中boot /grub/下的menu.list传错了,需要登陆论坛后在下面下载或自行修改为:

title Start or install Ubuntu
kernel (hd0,0)/boot/vmlinuz root=/dev/ram0 ramdisk_size=20000
initrd (hd0,0)/boot/initrd.gz



herd 2硬盘引导包已上传至论坛服务器，





．安装只需另行下载herd 2的i386 iso文件

ftp 的用户名和密码请见论坛的新闻和通知版。

提醒经常用live CD 安装的朋友：安装到 有ubuntu-desktop提示的地方时，敲一下空格键选中它。

此前 live CD硬盘安装没有成功,只能通过硬盘体验herd 1 LIVE CD

Herd 1 live CD 的硬盘引导包我己传至服务器：

用户名和密码请见论坛的新闻和通知版。

引导包里没有文件grldr，如没有请另行下载或登陆论坛后在下面下载, 把它放在c盘根目录下。

通过硬盘体验herd 1 live CD 不会有什么问题，如果电脑硬件的兼容性比较好，应该是可以安装的。经过我的实践，体验herd 1 live CD 不会有什么风险，所以我把它传了上来，使用方法请见里面的说明

个人认为Live CD 对硬件的兼容性有一定要求






以下是herd1 的硬盘安装情况：

herd1 iso文件大小为：695 532 kb

按照置顶的帖子，自己做了initrd.gz和vmlinuz，然后改了一下menu.list
可以成功进到live cd的桌面，这时的分辨率不能改，只能工作在1280*1024,改为其它的桌面就没有响应，然后系统自动反回到gnome log in界面，10秒后回到gnome桌面。
然后点install，安装到键盘区域后，再点下一步，屏幕就花了，后来通过Bios把声卡，网卡全部 disable掉还是一样的结果。
请安装成功的DX指点一下！难道是硬件不相容？主板为C51，显卡为c51整合的6100，网卡8139
没有光驱
原来的dapper由硬盘安装
现在用的edgy（装有kde环境）是从dapper apt-get 而来，
前不久把源改为Feisty，通过apt-get了600多M的Feisty deb文件，upgrade完成后关机就死机，升级失败
后来从原来ghost备份的dapper(未装kde界面) 改源升级，反而要好些，升级时一堆错误，很多文件都升不了。升级不算成功，不过新的desktop和内核的确安装了，Feisty的登陆画面非常炫。
曾见过有人用iso做源来升级，所以也wget过Feisty（第一版）的iso文档，结果没什么作用。
上次由 skyx 在 2007-01-19 16:15，总共编辑 3 次。

我从光盘安装也是这样
linux什么最重要？硬件要旧，软件要新！
Ubuntu什么最重要？源要全！网要快！
不是你不明白，是linux变化快

我也遇到过此问题，我装的是第二版的，但如果在开始的语言选择中英文，则不会花屏。

我也遇到过此问题，我装的是第二版的，但如果在开始的语言选择中英文，则不会花屏。
第一版选英文是不行，我最开始是怀疑是语言的问题。

昨天安装成功，硬盘安装，alternate的cd，参照这篇文章：

注意，下载的两个文件不能直接用文章上面的文件，要把dapper改成felsty，里面的目录选择i386那个。我是用grub for dos引导安装的。

我第一次选择中文，结果失败，后来选择英文，没有出现出错信息，补充一下，我启动选择了vga1024*16，然后在网络配置的时候取消返回选择中文，这下中文可以了，没有出错，安装成功，不过显示grub安装失败，于是用grub for dos引导，成功进入系统，然后重新安装grub，一切正常，不过后来升级了一下，升级的时候出现很多错误，一开始是fc-cache失败，后来强制卸载fontconfig，然后重新安装fontconfig，恢复正常使用。但最后还是有些错误，一个是语言支持出错，一个是升级管理器出错，折腾了几个小时都没能解决，于是放弃，等稳定些再用了。升级之前还是没有问题的，就是升级以后出了很多问题，如果想用的朋友建议不要apt-get dist-upgrade。

前面有DX用光盘安装也出现了花屏死机的问题，说明我做的 herd1 引导包没有问题，个人认为应该是硬件的兼容性方面有问题，只到选择键盘就挂了，根本还没开始。


注意，下载的两个文件不能直接用文章上面的文件，
我是自己打包做的herd1硬盘引导文件，方法是直接从iso 中解开后然后打包制做，并不是从哪里下载的，做成的引导文件可以进live cd desktop 桌面，说明引导文件不会有什么问题。我估计找个老一点的电脑应该可以安装了。

现在网络真的有问题，herd2下载到10%就不动了。


如果下载herd2完后，我会尽量会把引导文件上传到ftp的，


如有可能，希望做了herd2 引导文件的朋友把他的整个c盘做个ghost映像上传到论坛ftp上，这样硬盘安装也不会搞得那么麻烦了。现在上国外网的速度实在让人爱不了啊。


我做了个6.10的c盘ghost，copy给了周围的朋友，他们感觉还不错。网速太慢，上不了论坛的ftp,没办法，不然先把6.10的ghost传上去，我想这还是会给不少朋友带来方便的。

论坛上有牛人上传的游戏不知比 ghost映像要大多少倍，实在传不了，可以把ghost映像中的iso去掉，这样才几M啊相比而信，小小滴！！！

我花了三天时间下载herd2，按照gnix_oag的方法制作了herd 2 live cd的硬盘引导包，结果不成功，把名为casper的脚本删除也不行/实际上是用herd1的替换了不少脚本也不行，学艺不精，只能用这些土办法。
不知是什么原因，herd1 制作后可以体验，并且用herd1制作的引导包去引导herd2也可进到桌面。
同样的方法用于6.10也是没有一点问题。

我用herd1的引导包可以进到herd2的桌面，但是鼠标失效，用不了鼠标，安装过程中的某些步骤不知道如何进行操作。
