由于FC6不支持我的本本...搞了N天...朋友建议我学UBUNTU...
遇到好多问题..希望大家能帮我回答下咯...第一次来。.第一个问题.....

这2个ISO文件有什么区别啊?为什么一个只有几百M..一个却有3.5个G..?包含内容不一样吗?为什么会这样..


还有。.注意是edgy版本，dapper也附带支持)(2007-1-17)
这2个版本又有什么区别呢??

还有..我感觉UBUNTU的好多专业术语都不怎么看得懂..不知道哪里有那些基础点的教程或者电子书..小弟感激不尽

你能上网么？可以的话就小的就可以了。
不过，推荐用6.10。这个是最新的版本。
dvd版是包含了很多软件，比较全，但不新。
ubuntu会自己从源下载软件并自动安装、升级。
所以，有网络的话，选那个都一样。

回答3楼.. 很多人说可能FC6对本本支持性(主要指一些显卡)不是很好...网上好久有很多这样的问题..
为了把那个X搞出来...我整了N久N久...所以...就放弃咯..换个系统...

我这两天也是笨的不小心把IBM 本本的MBR破坏了
现在啊什么都搞不了
U盘引导也不得
我现在正在用我弟弟的机器上VM先搞搞呢。

奇怪..安装ubuntu又出事了...
没有安装grub和lilo...现在启动的时候就出现一个grub...什么都没有了..

fc6对硬件的支持还行吧，总之是支持我的ati显卡了。
不过在fc6下面始终没有把我的ipw3945搞定。

这个，跟显示器有关系么？我的是generic monitor也没有问题阿？lz的xorg.conf里面现实的monitor是什么？

你有没有装beryl或者开xgl什么的呢？还是一装上系统就不是很稳定？
你的显卡是ati的，所以如果开了xgl，在xorg.conf最后一定要加上下面的code：
