64位ubuntu的问题

64位的系统是不是不太稳定？装完后修改完sources.list，再更新玩重新登陆就进不去了......

ps:我的配置：
amd 4200+
asua m2n-e

有的时候会出现异常，进安全模式看看

安全模式也不行
哭了....现在什么都进不去了，本想在windows下清除linux的分区然后好重装32位版，结果现在连windows也进不去了，开机就显示"grub loading, please wait...error 22"
用ubuntu的livecd启动，选择启动ubuntu出现

就不动了，ctrl+alt+del都没用.....

第一个问题:Grub坏了，XP安装盘，进入修复模式，输入fixmbr,然后选Yes, 最后输入exit，XP应该就好了。

第二个问题：以前你是怎么装上去的？Kernel panic - not syncing: IO-APIC + timer doesn't work! Boot with apic=debug and send a report, then try booting with the 'noapic' option 好像在X2的3600+,3800+,4200+的AMD 的CPU普遍有这个问题，我也有。解决方法：在
Alternated CD安装开始的界面按下F6,出现Boot选项，然后输入 noapic，就可以继续了。

原来听说那块主板好像装linux有问题，说升级bios就可以搞定，然后就装上去了，还算顺利，就是刷新源后，安装完更新，再重启就不行了，现在依然不知道原因....

对了，是不是32－bit的版本要稳定一些？
