I'm an author of HexGlass game (http://code.google.com/p/hexglass/). It mentions in this forum at viewtopic.php?f=34&t=295675&start=0 Thanks!

But I want to talk about something else

I'm looking for native speakers, who can help to localize this game on wide range of languages. China is most of the world language. And I would like to call China community to help with translation.

Are you ready to accept my invitation?

If you are Qt-programmer, you can prepare standard TS-file and send it to me. Else you can contact to me via e-mail and I send to you an URL of simple web-interface for translators.

How to build from source
1. You need packages libqt4-dev, libqtcore4, libqtgui4, qt4-qmake. Install the missing packages. Like this:

2. Get source

$ wget http://hexglass.googlecode.com/files/hexglass-1.0.8.tar.gz

3. Unpack and build

$ tar xzf hexglass-1.0.8.tar.gz
$ cd hexglass-1.0.8
$ qmake-qt4
$ make

4. Try to run

$ ./hexglass

5. Install if you want:

$ make install

Ubuntu China is not a bbs, or said >95% Chinese confused the word BBS with Forum.

IMO, just bbs is easier to remember, however, to the rest of the world the term bbs is strange.

Hi, Collegs!

I am pleased to inform you that the project hexglass alive and continue evolution.

Hexglass got some new features now, and the interface has got some new phrases. All the functionality completed now, all translations are updated, but China locale not updated yet.

I am trying to contact to luojie-dune (the one who prepare last translation), but he do not answer. May be he has no time to translate...

So. I would ask you to spend a minute to translate some words.

Some comments:

• "Careful dropping" -- It is new feature. When it ON the dropping mode canceled immidiatly if you release space-key.
• "High scores" -- New feature. HexGlass keeps best results (for every size).
• "Mosaic tiny" -- Renamed to eliminate overlaping with "Size" submenu terms. Previously the word "tiny" has been used in "Size" submenu and in "Skins" submenu. This caused some difficulties.
• "Aqua huge" -- The same reason: word "huge" has been used in two different submenus.

I really want to help but I'm an idiot on QT.

"Careful dropping" could trans to “安全下落(safe dropping)”？no,not exactly but close,maybe "下落控制(dropping control)" is better ,according to it's meaning
"High scores" is usually transed to "排行榜(rank)" or "高分排名(hi score rank)"
"Mosaic tiny" sorry,I don't get its meaning so cannot translate , if you can explain is meaning
"Aqua huge" in contrast to "普通液体" and "大块液体" , it means extremely large, so "特大液体" maybe ok

What is "Mosaic tiny"?.. It means, that game area seems like mosaic (as if it creating with an assemblage of small pieces of colored stone). Tiny means, that the pieces are extremely small.

It is smallest skin. You can view it at most left part of skin preview on project home page: http://code.google.com/p/hexglass/#Tunable_skin.

I didn't know the word "Mosaic",and finally I Googled the word "Mosaic" and understood perfectly.I thought it's weird and maybe not and English word,I should do the google early sorry.
it's "马赛克" just like the option2 and option3
according to the menu there's no "mosaic small" so currently we don't need to make a clear difference and just translate it to "小型马赛克(small mosaic)" unless you got a plan to add one more option as "Mosaic small", or just make it "特小马赛克(very small mosaic)" exactly as the english words meaning. Well I'll prefer the first one

There are three questions need to be solved before I release new translation.

At first. How can I name you in changelog file, and on project home page. I mention all contributors (here http://code.google.com/p/hexglass/wiki/news), and your work have not be anonymous. You can say your nik, name, email,... URL of your web-page or public profile...

The second. Check, is it correct? Correct me if I wrong.



The third... Few excuses, why I write "mosaic tiny" (MT) but not "tiny mosaic" (TM). TM means, that size of mosaic is tiny. But I wont to say, that parts of mosaic is tiny. When I say MT, I would like to say "Mosaic, that construct from tiny parts". But it is too long, and I say just MT. May be, it is not correct english sentence (I am never been in London ), but I prefer MT.

"Mosaic tiny" perfer “微型马赛克” not “马赛克”
“Mosaic” means “马赛克”，so “Mosaic tiny” must plus “微型” which means something very small to polish this word "马赛克".
just my personal viewpoint！
