a question for diskes

a small question:
I use 2 systems: win xp and ubuntu 6.10
For win, there are 3 diskes, 2 of them for documents and films.
I want to use these 2 diskes under ubuntu and so change them to Fat32 with PartitionMagic 8.0.
All pass well in xp, but when I use these 2 diskes under ubuntu, I can not find files in them.
After, I change them return to NTFS, ubuntu can not find the files in these 2 diskes. But it is always ok under win xp.

So help me please!!!

那叫partition而不是disk。
不要随便用pq，而且根本没必要转成fat，因为ntfs在ubuntu下是可读写的。
你需要重新修改/etc/fstab。具体使用方法搜论坛。
先把wiki的快速设置指南看过，把输入法搞定。

LZ你更改了分区，却没有更改Ubuntu的分区表配置文件，而ubuntu不会像windows那样自动侦测并适应分区变化(为了安全考虑？我是菜鸟搞不明白)，所以ubuntu会识别不出来你转换过的分区

虽然你又把分区转回去了NTFS格式，但是分区的UUID已经改变了，因此你需要sudo gedit /etc/fstab，更改UUID

查看分区UUID的命令：ls -l /dev/disk/by-uuid

UUID是Edgy新增加的，你也可以把UUID去掉，一样可以使用(MS是这样的，我没有试过)

如果要在ubuntu下读写ntfs分区，可以安装ntfs-3g，并修改 /etc/fstab，将ntfs分区所在行的 ntfs 改为 ntfs-3g，为了支持中文文件名，还需要将 nls=utf8 改为 defaults,locale=zh_CN
