problem with skim under kubuntu

I am using newest kubuntu 7.04 and have install skim. I start skim from menu, but it can't be poped up input dialog by crtl-space. Can any boby help me? thanks !

may be you need to install some scim package about chinese

或者安装fcitx，在kde环境下scim/skim问题太多
