First CNR.com ALPHA Released To Community For Testing & Feedback

Community Members,
The first ALPHA release of CNR.com is immediately available at http://cnrweb.cnr.com This release is a "very early" sneak peak at CNR.com and not designed for any public consumption.
As a community member you get the first opportunity to review, test, provide forum feedback, and post bugs on the following ALPHA CNR.com features:
Testing Feature List:

* Create an Account/Sign In Active
* Install / Uninstall Software Pending CNR Plug-in Release Week of May 7th
* Upload Screenshots Pending a bug fix
* Submit Reviews Active
* Sign up to the CNR Newsletter Active
* Browse the charts Active
* Browse the product pages Active

Install / Unistall Software:
Because the ALPHA CNR.com website requires a new CNR Plug-in to Install / Unistall software, you will not be able to install or unistall software initially. The new CNR Plug-in will be released the week of May 7th. After the announced release of the new CNR Plug-in, you will also need to be running FREESPIRE 2.0 , in order to test the Install / Uninstall software feature on CNR.com (once CNR.com is officially launched it will support Freespire 1.0, 2.0 Linspire 5.0, 5.1 and in the very near future Ubuntu 7.04).

Reporting Bugs:
When you find bugs on CNR.com please submit them through Bugzilla by going to bugzilla.freespire.org.(you will need to create an account). Once you log-in, go to "Enter a new bug report" and then click on "CNR.com".
Be sure to follow bugzilla etiquette by checking to make sure the issue you are reporting does not already exist.

Forum Feedback:
Please direct all your general testing feedback and suggestions to the associated Forum links on CNR.com, or visit the CNR.com Testing forums to discuss each test feature on CNR.com.

As with any first ALPHA release, you will see a number of "rough" areas that still require some "polish" and new content. Be assured, we are working extremely hard to make CNR.com an incredible tool for you and other Linux users when it is officially launched in the coming weeks. As always, we appreciate your contribution and look forward to learning what the community likes and doesn't like about CNR.com...and what features you think we should add.
