你的问题可能是grub配置文件设置的问题,我的start up那里只3秒。

sudo vim /boot/grub/menu.lst
里面看看这里：
## timeout sec
# Set a timeout, in SEC seconds, before automatically booting the default entry

timeout 3
timeout 3就是3秒。

改了后没改善,我的机器是945GM CORE 2 T5500 1G DDRII 667,应该不是我机器问题吧~

这个应该是在grub 选择进入那个系统选择时间吧？？？

去掉一切无用驱动，一些核心驱动编译进内核，关闭没用的服务，肯定开机速度快了：）

把GDM卸载掉，用文本模式进入系统，然后用startx启动图形界面，这样能快很多。
