请教如何在UBUNTU下面使用GPRS上网？

我使用的是IBM笔记本，插入GPRS卡后可以发现硬件，但是没有FOR LINUX下面的DRIVERS.不知道能不能解决这个问题。
以前是使用北京神州行号+GPRS卡上网的，需要设置代理等等。其实只要能解决UBUNTU能够安装这个GPRS卡硬件驱动一切就好办多了。
第一次来这里，希望能得到大家的帮助。

感谢楼上的朋友.另外可以帮我分析一下别人提供的方法么?他是用手机根笔记本连接通过gprs上网的.
我主要希望解决的问题就是for linux 下的drivers.

Gprs问题还是没有解决。根据网友提供的方法运行后出错。可能是我使用的Gprs卡没有驱动造成的。
下面是他提供的方法：

如果你选用的的linux发行版不太老的话就不用自己装驱动的啊！我用的是FC4，而且已经成功可以上网了！
下面介绍一下吧
首先把你的手机连接在电脑上
在命令行输入tail -f /var/log/messages

将显示类似下面一些信息，

Mar 23 12:03:10 Fox kernel: usbserial.c: FTDI 8U232AM Compatible converter
now attached to ttyUSB0 (or usb/tts/0 for devfs)



在/etc/ppp 下新建如下几个配置文件
1、ppp-start
内容如下
/usr/sbin/pppd file /etc/ppp/gprs-options
保存

2、gprs-options
内容如下
/dev/ttyUSB0
115200
defaultroute
user "user"
connect "/usr/sbin/chat -e -v -f /etc/ppp/gprs-connect"
disconnect "/usr/sbin/chat -f /etc/ppp/gprs-disconnect"



3、gprs-connect

内容如下
TIMEOUT 60
ABORT 'BUSY'
ABORT 'ERROR'
ABORT 'NO CARRIER'
'' 'AT'
OK AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","cmwap","0.0.0.0",0,0
OK ATD*99***1#
CONNECT ''


4、gprs-disconnect
内容如下
ABORT BUSY
ABORT ERROR
ABORT 'NO DIALTONE'
TIMEOUT 30
'' '+++\c'
SAY " + sending break"
'' 'ATH'
SAY "\n + dropping data connection"
OK 'AT+CGATT=0'
SAY "\n + disconnecting from GPRS"

5、pap-secrets
内容如下
'user' * 'pass' *

好，到此已经可以上网了
在字符终端输入. /etc/ppp/ppp-start 注意，“.“后面有个空格
linux已经开始开始拨号啦
如果你想看看过程也可以在字符终端输入
tail -f /var/log/messages
会有类似如下的提示输出：

打开firfox设置代理为10.0.0.172：80
好了，你可以和windows一样浏览网页啦！
qq的话可以用lumaqq哈哈，爽吧

上面的方法试验过,不行.
