请问：我在vmware下安装Ubuntu怎么没有root的密码？

我以为会提示我输入root密码的，但是直到建立了普通用户时我才发现我错了。
这样的话vmware tools装不上啊
刚收到Ubuntu的盘，首次安装，还请多多给点意见。

./vmware-install.pl 之后有个What is the location of the "killall" program on your machine? 这里应该填什么？

应该直接回车就好了。
