linux 编译安装好后？我怎么进入新编译的linux?

下载了 linux-2.6.22.1 编译安装好后，我重起ubuntu怎么还是进入这个界面呀？不好意思我是新手，大家帮帮我哦

那你的改 menu.lst 添加一个topic ， kernel 指到新内核吧 ?

在 kernel 里核心后面 还有个 root 这个怎么填 啊？我不填就启动不了！

为什么我 /etc/lilo.conf 没有这个文件？我该怎么样启动我的内核 呀？

应该把kernel的位置一改就可以了吧？root和原来的一样就可以了

我也遇到楼主的问题,我的问题是自己想加如系统的起动图像,可是现在的编译内核以后会出现这样的问题:
RAMDISK:Couldn't find valid RAM disk image starting at 0
VFS: Connot open root device undnown-block(0,0)
Kernel panic - not syncion:VFS Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)

不知道是什么原因,利用bootsplash工具的splash支座的initrd,不知道错到哪里了?
希望用过bootsplash工具的前辈指点谜津,谢谢:)
