[问题]关于开机进程配置。

在Ubuntu Wiki里“加速Ubuntu开机过程 ”这篇文章里，

但是我打开sysv-rc-conf，这两个东西在S 等级和1等级下面都没有“X”，是怎么回事？

S 是开机就运行的
0 关机
1 单用户
2-5 多用户，ubuntu 正常状态是 init 2
6 重启动

acpid 在运行级2-5 也行,

多用户指的是多用户模式，unix/linux系统是用不同的用户/组来区分权限的，并不是要登录创建一个会话才算是一个用户，你sudo的时候程序就是以root身份运行的。。。。

hal是“硬件抽象层”类似于win中的hal.dll，在linux中是一个系统守护进程，具体看一下rh对hal的描述：

console-screen，keyboard-setup，killprocs，libpam-foreground，module-initools，mountoverflow，udev-finish。
都很重要吗？有哪些可以毙掉？

看名字貌似都挺重要，ps aux一下，是root用户的一般别乱杀。
或者一个一个google吧，很容易找的，懒得查的话一个一个杀也没什么（只要不怕系统崩溃），想当年我就把initd“误杀”过一次，世界顿时静止了

还有kiilprocs只在运行级别1里用，大概是杀掉其他用户进程的，我猜是
你大概也是装的command-line吧

对了，S级别的libpam-foreground如果去掉的话，用fdisk -l就看不到插上的U盘
