how to remove the program icon - ubuntu 7.10

I have had the google earth installed but it doesn't work ! I remove it from the system. but the icon still there in the main menu under "Internet" how can i remove it? I tried system-->preference-->main menu, but failed.

And, As I am using English as default language, how can i enable the SCIM? I also try to add it to the system by following the instruction. it doesn't work until now.

Looking forward to some one could help me to solve this problem.

那个是个.desktop文件吧。
在终端里面删除就是了。

在main里面删除结果failed？怎么fail的？有什么提示？

去系统->首选项->主菜单里面禁用掉
