[问题]ubuntu下安装VMware软体遇到问题

下载了VMware-workstation-5.0.0-13124.i386.rpm包后，如下操作：

root@Ubuntu:/home/softstone/Desktop# rpm -Uvh VMware-workstation-5.0.0-13124.i386.rpm
error: failed dependencies:

root@Ubuntu:/home/softstone/Desktop#

请问这是怎么回事？改如何解决？

在ubuntu5.1下安装vmware至这儿遇到了一些麻烦
