为什么我修改source.lists之后，再update之后，就无法进入x-windows？？？？

ubuntu系统用了好几天都是好的，今天，为了能够get-apt install到一些有用的软件，我把source.lists根据“快速设置指南”的提示，进行了修改。
等更新完系统之后，一切也是好的。不过在晚上关机再重启的时候，发现无法启动xwindow,跳出一个死窗口

I cannot start the X server (your graphical interface).
It is likely that it is not setup correctly. Would you like to view the X server output to diagnose the problem?

而且键盘也死掉了。

根据google上“前人”的经验，进行修改，还是没有成效。

然后，我开始了第二此装ubuntu。悲剧继续上演。。。

在装好之后，一个方面，我认为有了这几天的接触，应该安装使用豆更得心应手，同时也更小心，就怕再次出现那类问题。
可是。。。
在装好之后，进入图形界面。我再次根据“快速设置指南”的提示，修改了source.lists，并且做了更新。为了防止以后的无用功，我立刻重启了系统。
不想看见的一幕再次上演。不过这次没有出现死窗口。只是直接进入了文本形式。并且无法通过“startx”，启动图形界面。

xorg.conf有没有备份？有的话覆盖回去试试看

我觉得可能是更新的时候有问题，有一段时间，我就是更新以后就出现这种问题。也有可能是你装了某个软件，删掉了一些东西

sudo dpkg-reconfigure server-xorg
试试？

我试过，它提示我的server-xorg不存在，并且使用apt-get install还下不到

sudo apt-get install x-window-system-core
把x的核心装起来看看行不行

早上重装了系统。
后来安装的时候，没一步都重启系统。发现在安装英汉辞典之后，也就是：

sudo apt-get install stardict stardict-common stardict-cdict-gb stardict-cedict-gb stardict-hanzim stardict-langdao-ce-gb stardict-langdao-ec-gb stardict-oxford-gb stardict-xdict-ce-gb stardict-xdict-ec-gb

之后，出现问题，还是第一次的问题，即：

跳出一个死窗口

如楼上所提示，
sudo apt-get install x-window-system-core
执行正确之后，
执行：
apt-get insall x-window-system
提示无法安装：

Package x-window-system is not available, but is referred to by another package, this may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source
E: Package x-window-system has no installation candidate

x-window起来了。

装了那个包之后，就起来了。

现在又有新的问题，就是浏览器不能显示文字了。
无论中文还是英文，都无法显示。

并且，目前看来，也只有浏览器的文字不能显示，甚至在地址栏里的地址也不能显示。

请指教

可能还少包,试试 sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop
