swiftweasel和swiftdove，firefox和thuderbird的加强版。

我来这一段时间了，典型的看贴不回者。
发现没人重视这个软件，有点伤感。。。。

swiftweasel是firefox的不同型号cpu的加强版，和swiftfox最大的区别是他是开源的，连设计也是（swiftfox不是！！）

有deb，有gutsy和gusty之前的deb，方便安装。

优势一：能兼容firefox的theme和插件，据经验，能自动继承firefox书签和flash、mplayer插件（前提是不删除firefox），会在./mozilla下生成swiftweasel，不会妨碍firefox
优势二：速度可以提高，据情感和臆测加幻想、心里作用下，速度提高了很多。
优势三：版本新，更新也快。有2008和a8版本。（抱歉，a8是a8pre，不是a8，差点误人子弟了。。。。）

抛弃swiftfox，使用swiftweasel吧！！

缺点一：似乎不能自动继承firefox的addon（非flash和mplayer），而且还会手动安装一些奇怪的(如adblock、speeddial，手动删除就好了）。
缺点二：把firefox删掉的话，mozilla－mplyer也会被删掉，所以。。。。。

当然，只想方便，建议firefox，想快速点，使用swiftweasel不是swiftfox。
补充：swiftdove是thunderbird的加强版（选cpu类型，没用过）
在which build下有cpu和版本介绍，不知道要下那个的就看一下吧。

多谢楼主推荐,之前我一直用swiftfox,喜欢它的速度和漂亮的图标,不过我一直以为它也是开源的,准备试一下swiftweasel,最近我在7.10 64位版本下安装了swiftfox,使用的是gansh,浏览163主页是感觉特别不流畅,尤其是在拖动滚动条时,明显感到延迟,并且此时cpu的占用率瞬间到达100%,改用firefox也是如此,不知楼主遇到过这种情况吗?再次感谢楼主推荐!

我没上过163（抱歉了。。），不过我曾经firefox的cpu占用太高，是字体问题，如果是源里的文泉驿字体，似乎还没有解压（去文泉驿官网可以下deb），所以速度很慢，另外gnash似乎会引起一些问题，其他的就不清楚了。

google过来的，有个问题。
我先下载的2.0.0.8的版本，字体和firefox的一样的没有问题，美化过的；但是2.0.0.11就有问题，字体难看得要死……

怎么设置字体？首选项已经设置过了，没有任何反应……

我不论是安装swiftfox还是swiftweasel，字体都不能设置……
只有用automatix2安装的2.0.0.8版本的SW没有问题。

本身的FF的字体也是没有问题的──请问应该怎样去设置字体呢？？

显然不是开源的，理由更是奇怪。
