Ubuntu 7.10 狂读硬盘 假死机 X60

用Ubuntu到目前为止都非常稳定，但是几乎每天总有一个时间机器会莫名其妙的狂读硬盘，想移动鼠标都很艰难。基本上要等40分钟－1小时才会恢复过来。这个症状发生的时候和软件应该没有关系，有的时候有运行ff和其他一些小软件，有的时候没有运行任何软件。

不知道什么原因，请指教

刚才又死机了，症状一样，狂读盘，没任何反应。从9：30开始 我等了90分钟 在11点左右重启了

似乎 在你的log中并没有找到相关问题的发生。

是否与搜索工具正在编制索引日志呢？

如果你说的是tracker的话 那我已uninstall了。但是就算是在编制索引文件也不可能这么没反应吧？

不知道有没有人碰到过和我一样的问题

我这里有，而且只有ubuntu有这个现象，不过我没有你这么严重，系统还是可以勉强动作，建议你查下坏道。

原因众说纷纭，论坛有记录以来，大概有三五个用户反映这种情况。

我也遇到过这种情况，只在一块五年以上的硬盘上遇到过，同样的ubuntu ,装同样的软件，换硬盘后我再也没遇到过这种事情，换硬盘前经常出现，个人以为并不是 xxx人所说的后台程式运行太多。


最大的可能是硬盘质量不佳，但这种硬盘在win下不会有什么问题，还可以继续使用，有可能ntfs的容错能力比较强的原因。

that the HD is going bad or is bad. I would make a backup quick if you
don't have one.

Another possibility is the hard disk is beginning to fail. Are you getting
any other errors? Do you hear any clicking, grinding, or harmonic noises
coming from the disk? If so, throw the data to tape or a good hard disk and
replace it. if you hear
any odd noises or begin to get I/O errors, or bus resets, replace it
immediately.





try removing disks and see if the problem goes
away. If it does, live without the disks or get a bigger power
supply.

多谢楼上的回答，但是我用的是新的WD的160G sata的笔记本硬盘，应该不会有坏道，更不应该速度不够吧？

另外Ubuntu下怎么检测硬盘？

sudo touch /forcefsck

然后重启，启动时fsck就会动作，但fsck功能可能有限。

我操作了一下 fsck没问题 但是我发现他只检测了一个主分区

我的也是。硬盘灯狂闪。经常这样。我按reset重启。没事。

我回忆了下，发现有可能是内存已经满了，然后系统在做调整的时候发生的

一般来说有几样会这样：内存与swap在做交换，mysql数据库有巨大的数据在检查，updatedb检查更新包（每天一次），tracker在编制索引（最好删除），其他的内置服务。
