好奇怪的问题请求帮助：更新后切换控制台无显示（已解决）

这是第三次了，安装完ubuntu7.10系统一切正常，但更新升级后（87个软件）用Ctrl+Alt+Fn切换控制台显示器自动关闭，无法使用。换回F7桌面正常。请问怎么样再使用控制台终端？

这是第三回了，第一次我以为是自己操作失误，重装后第二次便有怀疑。这次是在更新前后对比，重启后切换终端就关显示器（无同步信号）。

刚刚经过测试，其它终端可以用。我在无显示情况下登录，进行操作还有效。我现在就在听音乐，真是听呀，眼前黑黑一片。。。。。。。

将/etc全部还原，重启后还是一样。
再启动一个 startx -- :1 能进入另一个X窗口，显示正常。

究竟怎样才能正常使用控制台终端呀？？？？

解决方法：重装系统，不更新xserver-xorg-video-intel。
