系统更新到了8.04，audacious也更新到了1.4.6。经过一阵的搜索让新版的audacious可以正常播放ape和读取cue文件了，下面就是步骤。
sudo apt-get install audacious audacious-dev audacious-plugins-extra
装完这后再装上
mac-3.99-u4-b5
audacious-mac-0.3.10
为了方便大家的安装，我把这两个包传上来。
做到这一步就可以播放APE文件了，为了正常读取CUE文件，还要做一些设置。
首选项----》音频-----》格式检测。把里面的两个选项都取消点。
播放列表----》使用自动编码检测器。选 chinese就可以了。

那两个 tra.gz 的文件到底要怎么安装阿？
我把它们解压后在终端进入到解压目录下后
执行 sudo ./configure (也尝试过 ./configure)
执行后，再接着执行
sudo make && make install (同样也尝试过不加 sudo)

结果还是不行阿....

我才刚接触 ubuntu 而已，问题虽然有点菜，但还是希望高手们能帮忙解惑下

P.S. 我装的 ubuntu 是7.10的 AMD64 版本
难道是这两个插件不支持64位系统？

你没有看到那么多的NO吗？那就是说明你的系统缺少那些东西。当然不能装了。
你把那些软件都装上再试试吧！特别是gcc g++。这是最基本的编译要用的。
当然了。编译这两个东西都得加sudo

升级到1.5.0，默认就可以播放APE了，爽啊，哈哈。
不过不能读CUE文件，照楼主的：

我今天升了8.04，audacious就用不了了……
源里面的1.5也用不了。
终端运行audacious什么错误也没有，但是什么也不会出现……

折腾了一天多终于安LZ的方法装上了 ，不过使用了10楼的.deb文件。。。LZ的那两个打包文件还是不会安装 看来得伴随着APE的美妙音质继续学习ubuntu和熟悉linux啊 。。在此谢谢lz和10楼上传.deb文件的哥们儿
