wine和ies4linux安装问题

我没有安装windows系统，只有一个ubuntu系统。请问安装使用wine一定要有双系统吗？
为了装ies4linux我安装好了wine和cabextract包，然后安装ies4linux，我选择ie 5.5和ie 5.0不安装，在选择cn安装，这时开始连接微软网站下载文件，文件下载完后提示开始安装ie6 这时候我的电脑就死机了，什么也动不了！这到底是怎么回事呢？是不是和我没装双系统有关呢？

wine和你的Windows没有任何关系。
记住，当你有一个双系统，而你启动了其中一套系统，那么就可以当另外一套不存在。
双系统的两个系统之间没有任何关系！

一点关系都没有。
你所说的“死机”是怎么个具体情况？

不用安装双系统可以安装wine来安装ies4linux？真的吗？
在安装ies4linux过程中，ie文件下载完后，命令行提示：IE6 Install 这时候我的电脑就死机了，什么都动不了，程序不动，键盘鼠标也都不能动。只能按机箱上的复位来重启。
注：我只有一个ubuntu7.10系统

只要有wine就一定可以的。不需要什么M$的系统。给你我的安装情况。中间的fixme是没有影响的。我这样安装完了就可以用了。

编译环境安装了没有？wine安装了没有？
