This is my first time to install Ubuntu, and I used RH/Fedora for serveral years.... Now I'd like to install scim to input chinese characters, but after I search this forum, I get this answer :
sudo apt-get install scim scim-modules-socket scim-modules-table scim-pinyin scim-tables-zh scim-input-pad
bu when I run the scripts above, I get fellow messages:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
E: Couldn't find package scim
What's the problem ??? And What I can do to solve this problem??? Is there anyone can tell me how to use apt-get in detail?? Thanks... I'm waiting online!!!
