安装ubuntu时碰到的问题??? ----在线等!!!!!!!!

我在安装ubuntu后,在重起时会提示
"Faild to start the X server(your graphical interface). It is likely that it is not set up correctly. Would you like to view the X server output to diagnose the problem?"然后让我选择"yes"或"no"
我选"yes"后,它提示的意思应该是有些文件没有发现,然后我选"ok" ,提示"启动x server 失败",再敲回车,就进入了命令行界面,输入用户名和密码,登陆后就是纯命令行的界面,看不到图形界面.

我想问下:是不是我的显卡与ubuntu不兼容,还是什么问题? 在winxp下都正常的

不知道有没有解决的办法????

normally , you can excute "sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg" to re-setup your hardwares. and sometimes you should check your /var/log/Xorg.0.log file to see if any EE error here, this will indicate you which device or error occourred. using "cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log|grep EE" would be helpful.
