请问ubuntu kernel 支持 bootsplash吗

我在menu.lst中加了一句
splashimage=(hd0,4)/boot/grub/29962-grubuntu.xpm.gz
不起作用
请高手指点

你那个仅仅是grub的背景图片

和bootsplash和kernel都没有任何关系

默认的ubuntu内核不支持bootsplash 想要的话需要自己编译
ubuntu 6.06
