Ubuntu 8.04 更新到2.6.24-17后GRUB中无相应选项

最近刚刚把Ubuntu 8.04 从2.6.24-16更新到2.6.24-17，但在启动时grub中并没有出现相应的选项，仍然只有2.6.24-16的选项，麻烦各位看看这是怎么回事啊？

前两个进不去，每次进第三个，新手俺只能将就着学了

升级的时候很人性的提示是否保留（默认）还是替换还是合并menu.lst，而且合并的还比较和合并方式的选择
以及合并的结果，估计你是默认一路鼠标点下去了

系统就会自动更改GRUB
