谢谢各位的回复，由于问题无法解决我现在只能暂时离开ubuntu，等8.10出来时我还会回来的。华丽地投向xp的怀抱。。。
用8.04的，折腾了1个礼拜了，还是无果。。。我是用笔记本的，其他都好就是显卡驱动烦人。。。显示屏是auo sxga（1400x1050）显卡是geforce go 6600 64mb。运行glxinfo | grep rendering 都是什么“glx”missing之类。。。
1.用源里面的驱动，3d桌面——可以；关机——花屏！只有手动关机，于是开始寻求手动安装显卡驱动的慢慢不归路。。。
2.试用nvidia官方网站上的驱动（是版本：173.14.05
操作系统：Linux x86
发布说明：2008年05月28日 ）折腾了半天装上去进系统就花屏，无果，比之前的状况还要糟糕！只有换一种办法。
3，用envyng，装了2种（第一个是169.14，另一个是7x。xx）还是不能，169.14是闪出来nvidia的logo（出现3次，都十分清晰）然后屏幕就慢慢花了，最后定格（这个花屏和之前的173.14.05不大一样，173.14.05是一块一块的，鼠标移动时图像会变化）。
现在对ubuntu是十分寒心，正在华丽的xpsp3下华丽地等待各位回复，希望我能华丽地回到ubuntu的怀抱，万谢！

应该是显存的问题吧，这卡在Windows下正常不？

驱动安装后， 3d正常 ，分辨率正常 ，只是花屏，可以怀疑是驱动版本的问题，也可以怀疑是稳定性的问题。

所以，在折腾之前：

1 强烈建议楼主用 3dmark 2003 或3dmark2006 选 loop ,运行12小时以上，如果12 小时不死机，则稳定性没问题，

接下来可以：


2 把支持geforce go 6600的所有N卡驱动都试一下,nvidia官网上适合 go 6600的显卡驱动实在太多了。

此卡在windows下一切正常，skyx说的是装xp的驱动吧？这个没问题的。。。

我第一反应是，你是用wubi安装的……
在第一个问题出现的时候，应该只是关机的问题……

纯正光盘安装，8.04 x86版。第一个出问题确实只是关机出问题。应该如何解决呢？现在受限驱动里面没有东西了。。。怎么添加进去？另外添加了以后还是解决不了哦。。。

6600 go 可用的linux版驱动nvidia官方网站可下载的版本非常多。

3dmark是在win上用的，loop 12小时以上用来检验稳定性。

3dmark是在win上用的，loop 12小时以上用来检验稳定性。[/quo运行3dmark12小时没必要吧？windows下面玩游戏做什么都好好的，只有在linux下才出问题的，肯定不是我卡的问题。另外不装显卡驱动的话用ubuntu也是没有问题的，只是想用ubuntu的3d桌面，所以这么折腾的。
另外你说6600 go linux版本很多，那该用哪个？我倒是没找到这么多，，，

通过12 小时稳定性3dmark loop测试,则可以说明你的显卡是合格的，否则要找原因(内存，主板，电源 and so on )。业界的标准就是12个小时。
