推荐VLC多媒体播放器和安装方法

apt安装
sudo apt-get install vlc vlc-plugin-esd mozilla-plugin-vlc vlc-plugin-alsa vlc-plugin-pulse vlc-plugin-sdl


编译安装
1、sudo apt-get install build-essential gcc make autoconf automake libtool gdb g++ libavcodec-dev libpostproc-dev libmpeg2-4-dev libmad0-dev libwxgtk2.8-dev libavformat-dev libmad0-dev ffmpeg
如果编译firefox插件还需要Mozilla的开发包
如果编译portableaudio还需要其开发包
2、wget http://download.videolan.org/pub/vlc/0. ... 6h.tar.bz2 && tar jvxf vlc-0.8.6h.tar*
3、cd vlc* && ./configure --enable-wxwindows --enable-optimize-memory --enable-release --enable-real --enable-realrtsp --enable-flac --enable-snapshot --enable-esd
4、make
5、sudo make install

安装方式：编译安装的话对本机有一定优化，相对速度快些。
强烈推荐VLC，可是不能只从一方面说事，支持的话用VLC更好咯。可是不perfect啊，一些HD的，RMVB，一些APE的话还是mplayer了。可是郁闷的是mplayer也不完美啊，默认没有libdts的库，播6声道CD有问题啊，而gmplayer的默认界面我觉得就是一个累赘，还不如cli方便。

需要打成deb包的话：
To build a Debian package, you need to get the packaging info
svn co svn://svn.videolan.org/pkg-multimedia/unstable/vlc/debian debian
and then
dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -us -uc

不知道为什么我抓图没有抓到vlc中的媒体，可能是显卡驱动的问题吧。补个vlc的抓图，默认抓图文件夹在~/.vlc.
可以用http://forum.ubuntu.org.cn/viewtopic.php?t=109855上面的地址收看网络电视，测了一下速度很快

测试了没有问题，我把那个编进去了阿，看我的config，我把认为需要打开而默认没有打开的编译开关加上了。

其实播高清的话我还是建议使用打了补丁的mplayer，不过前提必须是svn版本的mplayer。CPU占用率在我的本本上from 86％下降到了5X％。其中解码器是图中那个dshowserver的。
我试了一下我机子上面唯一的一部高清《云于山之彼端，约定的地方》下面是控制台输出：

不过界面明显是vlc的优点。上面是vlc的。下面是mplayer的。

同样 mplayer有些皮肤也是相当精美，可是那只是皮肤不是图形界面。和上面比较：
vlc的皮肤是有单独的可编程接口的。所以这个wmp的皮肤里面有类似wmp的文件管理的要素。比如每部片有缩略图，文件列表也相对好些。
mplayer这个也很精美，可是就是图片。还不如键盘来的快一些。

放高清还是mplayer最好，vlc除了好看，网络功能强大外并没有出彩的地方。虽说x264是vlc开发的，可惜播放效率效果支持格式还不如mplayer，所以至今只能排在第二。

源里的版本到0.9.0-git20080512-1ubuntu1，有很大改进，亏我前天去编译git clone的时候 改了半天的make文件

有版本信息和Debug输出之类的信息么。
换个声音输出试一试。

如果还是刺耳的话可以编译安装。
或是我再给一个选择吧：这是我从mplayer源码树中取的最新的mplayer可以用这个包安装。
优点：已经打了补丁可以直接挂coreavc的解码器放高清。这个解码器坛子有下载。
可以和最新的smplayer一起用。不过注意是32bit x86 hardy的安装包
先把mplayer合并：cat mplayercheckout.tar.*|tar jx

现在Linux的桌面环境有好多软件转向QT4，smplayer vlc默认都编译qt4进去的，哎，早知道就用KDE了，什么时候把LXDE给换一换 :em11

我用smplayer看一个1080的秒速5，听不见声音的
这个秒5的mkv里有两条flac音轨，2声道和4声道
我猜测mplayer分不清两个声道，造成使用4声道的音轨，手动切换也没用
而用vlc就听到了，也可以切换音轨
但搞不定vlc的字幕
