ubuntu8.04无法配置上网(局域网内,指定IP上网的,但WINXP下正常)

声卡 Realtek ALC888/1200 @ nVIDIA MCP61 - High Definition Audio Control
硬盘驱动器 Maxtor 6V080E0 (80 GB, 7200 RPM, SATA-II)ler
硬盘驱动器 WDC WD400LB-55DNA0 (37 GB, IDE)
光盘驱动器 ASUS CB-5216A (DVD:16x, CD:52x/32x/52x DVD-ROM/CD-RW)
网络适配器 NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller (192.168.1.8)

软件情况:
先装的XP,为了学习,挂了另一个40G的硬盘用来研究UBUNTU8.04
光盘安装的,进入顺利,自动建立了启动菜单.
但问题就出在网络上
首先系统给我用DHCP配置了个IP192.168.1.XX,然后还给我指定了个192.168.1.74作为DNS服务器,当然不符合我在WINDOWS中的配置,因为我们这

是公司局域网上网:
IP:192.168.1.8
子网掩掩码:255.255.255.0
网关:192.168.1.1
DNS服务器有两个:202.96.128.166
202.96.134.133
(声明,我在广东深圳)命令
在图形界面,我怎么都改不了DNS服务器,听了网友们的介绍我在终端用如下操作:
sudo gedit /etc/network/interfaces
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback


iface eth0 inet static
address 192.168.1.8
netmask

255.255.255.0
gateway 192.168.1.1

auto eth0
更改了IP信息为上面的..并保存后重启网络
sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart


然后输入命令更改DNS服务器:
sudo gedit /etc/resolv.conf:
把202.96.128.166及202.96.134.133加入
按照大家的描述,我应该能上网了,可打开FIREFOX还是不能上.下面是我在终端的操作:

GUI也可以改的
系统--->系统管理--->网络
可设定静态IP，掩码，网关，DNS

我觉得你的配置文件不大对头，帖上我的，你参考一下，我一切正常

你试试清空/etc/network/interfaces，然后重新配置一次

来和LZ汇报下，我 已经KO了 ，办法是把 ROUTE的 MTU从1482改到1400。
ROUTE型号 WRT54GS，TOMATO 1.13。

我是直接改到1300，速度飞快！不改只能上百度。
