[问题]难道分辨率不由xorg.conf控制？

我装的是Xubuntu，ATI 9200SE 显卡，装了驱动。

在xfce设置了分辨率为1024x768，不过有很多选项，最高1600x1200。

但是gdm的登陆界面分辨率明明就是1600那个，我就不明白，然后查看/etc/X11/xorg.conf文件，结果发现[Screen]节的内容我确实已经将高于1024的分辨率删除了，那么为什么还有1600x1200这样的分辨率？

而当我安装了icewm后就只能用1600的分辨率，但此时屏幕又闪，而且字又小，害眼呢。

哪为弟兄知道这个分辨率到底在那里控制的？

我把分辨率改成1024*768_85好像登录界面也改过来了，以前登录是1600＊1200的，字体很小

问题是我的xorg.conf文件里面已经将超过1024的分辩率删除了啊，居然登陆界面还是1600的。

谢谢yongyi！果然可以了。就是不知道是什么缘故？

此外我家里的机器除了内存是128其余跟yongyi一样，不知道您装什么桌面？xfce还是icewm？我也在琢磨什么时候将家里那台换系统。

从我目前的使用理解是：登录界面是由/etx/X11/xorg.conf控制
然后在桌面出来后,就是用户自己在所有可能的模式中随意选择。
