Ubuntu12.04 安装N卡驱动失败

在附加驱动里面有三个驱动选项分别是：
nvidia_current
nvidia_current_updates
nvidia_experimental_310
我三个都下载安装过 可是都是显示绿色灯但下面提示已激活但没使用。

试过nvidia-settings提示
You do not appear to be using the NVIDIA X driver. Please edit your X configuration file (just run `nvidia-xconfig` as root), and restart the X server.
按照提示执行
~$ sudo nvidia-xconfig 提示
Using X configuration file: "/etc/X11/xorg.conf".
Backed up file '/etc/X11/xorg.conf' as '/etc/X11/xorg.conf.backup'
New X configuration file written to '/etc/X11/xorg.conf'

用lspic察看显卡信息
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Ivy Bridge Graphics Controller (rev 09)
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation Device 0de3 (rev a1)

从网上看到需要更新显卡
执行了~ sudo update-pciids
输入完密码 现在就在无限等待 也没有什么提示也没有报错…………

刚刚更新网卡的命令执行完了已经。但是再次察看网卡的时候N卡型号还是没变化依旧是

00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Ivy Bridge Graphics Controller (rev 09)
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation Device 0de3 (rev a1)

你这个是xorg.conf文件没有编辑正确，配置文件没正确肯定不能正确运行
