15.10wily的NIGHTLY版本，每天按时更新

前几天更新时又衰了

好像是更新了个网络配置文件，也没留意似乎是networkmanager.conf？？？？
我选了默认的N，好像是不改变配置，5555
这么马虎真不是好习惯

于是，第二天重启后杯具了，没法上网！一看任务栏连网络管理器图标都没了

于是ifconfig
发现只有lo没有eth0
打开/etc/network/interfaces看到
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
自己加了
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp

没用，后来打开网络连接想新建，看不到MAC地址和网卡

难道连网卡驱动都没装？

考虑NetworkManager服务有无启动，nm-applet托盘程序是否启动



/etc/network/interfaces 和 NetworkManager 只能二选一，/etc/network/interfaces中配置了eth0， NetworkManager 就会对 eth0 视而不见


先不要着急去下私有驱动，先 lspci -vv & lshw -C network 检查一下能否识别有线网卡硬件，检查内核模块状态
看你下载的两个驱动，有没有卸载的方法。目测可能系统被这两个家伙搞乱

目测 你下的驱动是r8168，autorun.sh会自动编译生成内核模块

其实真要装这个驱动，也不必去瑞昱官网，软件源中有r8168-dkms。

升级了 60 个软件包，新安装了 1 个软件包，要卸载 2 个软件包，有 0 个软件包未被升级。

复原一下办公机子的升级情况，估计就是这次升级出的问题，之前从来没有过认不出网卡的情况，明天看过再贴出来给各位观赏指导

看起来安装了REALTEK官网上的网卡驱动后可以联网了，已经可以上网及联网升级，但

1.托盘图标一直没有，请看第一个附件图片，
包括之前service network-manager restart之后，托盘图标出现，但打开后未显示连接且全灰不可选


2.打开网络连接，MAC地址什么的全灰不可选

托盘图标就是nm-applet，无须再执行nm-applet

前面提到配置了 /etc/network/interfaces，结果现在 ifupdown 自动接管网络了，NetworkManager 被晾在一边，自己识趣地变成了灰色。

看你贴出的结果，手工安装的驱动(r8168)成功编译，取代了内核自带的r8169。但手工安装的驱动可能在内核升级时面临失效。如果从软件源安装r8168-dkms就不会有此问题。软件源里的r8168会以dkms动态模组的形式存在，内核升级会自动重新编译。

目前可以先用，但长远考虑，最好换成软件源里的r8168-dkms。

其它都移除

2. 重新開機 看看你的疑難雜症 是否都不見了

3. 補充說明
3-1. Ubuntu Desktop 預裝 network-manager 相關套件
3-2. /etc/network/interfaces 只保留 localhost (127.0.0.1)
其它都由 network-manager 管理
比較合乎 Ubuntu Desktop 的設計
意思是 比較不會自己找麻煩來尋找克服方法

再到/etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf
把[ifupdown]
managed=false
改为true

再然后
/etc/init.d/networking restart
那个托盘图标依旧灰色无法使用....

我现在先重启下是不是还这样
