ubuntu15.04升级到15.10后，使用4.2内核无法连接网络，网卡用的8168，但是从http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=13&PFid=5&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false#2下载的网卡安装出错，似乎不支持4.2内核，肿么破，求各位大神指点

1.

lspci -knn
sudo ifconfig -a
sudo route -nv
sudo cat /etc/resolv.conf
sudo dhclient -v

结果全部复制贴上来

2.
r8168驱动，从软件源安装 r8168-dkms 包
安装前先卸载之前手动编译安装的
若还有问题，再尝试自己编译

若还有问题，再尝试自己编译

感谢楼上的回答，是我用的网卡驱动版本太旧了，更新之后这个问题解决了，不过又出现了新的问题，就是我在驱动那里选了个闭源的(后面不带update)显卡驱动，然后重启后报the system is running in low-graphics mode，百度搜到底答案都试过，还是没法解决，把/etc/X11/xorg.conf.failsave 改为xorg.conf之后，就循环在登录界面，就是输入用户名密码，登录后过一会屏幕一闪又回到登录界面，咋整

也就是输入密码之后，还会回到这个界面
网上说的修改.Xauthority文件拥有者，修改/tmp 或 /home权限都试过了，没用

1. 通常是顯卡沒有安裝/設定/啟用合適的驅動引起的

2. 因為登入 unity 桌面需要 3D 加速支援
在還沒安裝合適顯卡驅動以前
可能因為沒有 3D 加速支援而被退回

fglrx 15.9 官方声称不支持新于3.16的内核，更何况15.10的fglrx貌似是15.2？消息称Ubuntu打包的fglrx包含补丁，可在4.2内核上使用。(参考链接3) 但用户实际汇报不可使用，(参考链接2,4,5) 官方发行注记也指出不可用。(参考链接1)

综上所述，在15.10中方便地使用AMD私有驱动还要等等。建议先使用开源驱动。

15.10 发行注记写道:

AMD's fglrx driver does not work with the current kernel (1493888). It is warmly recommended to uninstall the fglrx driver before upgrading to Ubuntu 15.10. The open source "radeon" driver can be used as a temporary replacement until a fix is available.

卸载 fglrx 并恢复开源驱动

sudo apt-get remove --purge fglrx fglrx* fglrx-amdcccle* fglrx-dev*
sudo rm /etc/X11/xorg.conf
sudo apt-get install --reinstall xserver-xorg-core libgl1-mesa-glx libgl1-mesa-dri
sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

如果遇到 Internal Error, No file name for libgl1-mesa-dri

代码:

sudo apt-get install --reinstall xserver-xorg-core libgl1-mesa-glx:i386 libgl1-mesa-dri:i386 libgl1-mesa-glx:amd64 libgl1-mesa-dri:amd64
