Kernel support in Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.6 - 12.1.6 MP6

Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.6 for Linux brings a change to kernel module support. If the precompiled kernel module for Auto-Protect does not enable at the end of installation, an automatic process begins to compile a kernel module for Auto-Protect. For more information on how auto-compile works, including prerequisites, see Auto-compile for Symantec Endpoint Protection client for Linux.

Support for 12.1.6.x includes the kernels listed in this section, plus the list noted in the section for 12.1.5.
