有一部分开源的amdgpu驱动器已从Linux 4.8（Ubuntu 16.10) 内核往后移植（backported） 到4.4(Ubuntu 16.04)内核里了。根据我们（非常有限）的经验，这个部分backported 的开源amdgpu驱动器（即Ubuntu 16.04）可以使用在集显的AMD APU (GCN 1.2+)，但独显的GPU（我们测的是 AMD FX8350 + RX480) 就还不行了。 目前我们在这台独显的AMD机器里执行UbuntuMate 16.10，非常的快，非常非常的满意！

下个月 Ubuntu 16.04.2 会把Linux内核提升到4.8。我们这台机器有UbuntuMate 16.10/16.04.1/Win10三重开机，有什么新的进展，会在上帖里报告。
