今天14.04LTS到16.04LTS直接升级成功。
暂时遇到一个小问题，14.04LTS下正常运行的goagent无法在16.04LTS下运行。
原因是goagent依赖的python被更新了，而该版本的python已经不支持SSLv3协议，另外goagent依赖的gevent的ssl.py恰好用到了SSLv3协议，于是修改ssl.py的源代码改用TLSv1协议就解决了。

boot独立分区号称新手终结者，谁也记不住那一长串命令

sudo -S apt-get autoremove --purge 'linux-headers-[0-9].*' linux-headers-$(uname -r)+ linux-headers-$(uname -r | cut -d- -f1,2)+ 'linux-image-[0-9].*' linux-image-$(uname -r)+

去年就有一次，因输错命令，将内核统统干掉，不得不连夜给人家重装系统。

如果使用的系统是 Ubuntu/UbuntuMate 16.04/16.04.1（或其它衍生版），执行：

代码： 全选

apt update; apt full-upgrade

系统就会进阶到 16.04.2 。

不过：

执行 “apt full-upgrade" 时 (旧的指令 "apt-get dist-upgrade"), Linux 内核及配合套件（Ubuntu 给”它们“一个特别名词，叫 "HardWareEnabled stack"）并不会被自动更新（--即Linux内核还停留在4.4*），如下面附图：

要把Linux内核及其它牵涉到的套件从4.4 stack 进阶到 4.8 stack，可以执行下面指令：

sudo apt install --install-recommends xserver-xorg-hwe-16.04

重新开机后，则可以发现系统的内核已进阶到4.8，如第二个附图：

* 《170219补充》今天我们有另一台AMD机器（AMD Carrizo），执行 “apt full-upgrade"后，发现内核已被更新到 Linux 4.8.0.36。 不知道是否Ubuntu团队改变了政策？ Or something else?
