dependency that another package requires. Yum is trying to
solve this by installing an older version of libxcb of the
different architecture. If you exclude the bad architecture
yum will tell you what the root cause is (which package
requires what).

2. You have multiple architectures of libxcb installed, but
yum can only see an upgrade for one of those arcitectures.
If you don't want/need both architectures anymore then you
can remove the one with the missing update and everything
will work.

3. You have duplicate versions of libxcb installed already.
You can use "yum check" to get yum show these errors.

...you can also use --setopt=protected_multilib=false to remove
this checking, however this is almost never the correct thing to
do as something else is very likely to go wrong (often causing
much more problems).

我觉得是库libxcb的版本不对应的问题，正是这个原因，导致源里的wine都装不上。可能过半个月左右，通过更新，会自动解决的。
同样，因为kmod-virtualbox 版本不对应的缘故，virtualbox现在也无法安装。开来这段时间是不能使用win的程序了。

因为是新安装的，没有旧的内核，所以没办法了，就希望它快点更新。

昨天已尝鲜，ubuntu12.04，先安装一个office2003精简版，中途出错无法继续，估计是跟精简有关，接着安装某证券公司行情软件（基于通达信），安装界面有缺字，装完后无法运行，卸载了。

我跟你的系统版本一样，但是我的这个库版本都是1.9-1,也许是你的有些软件源没开的缘故，我把这个库给传上来的 把后缀的tar.gz去掉

安装office2007,ie都不成功，好不容易安装了中国游戏中心和华宝证券，但是无法打开，只有一个图标在跳。

虽然还是没能运行，但是已经知道缘故了。
一个依赖包版本低，通过强制升级解决了;
另一个依赖包（cups-libs）版本太高，结果强制升级后，版本更高了，已经无法降下来了，惟有等待。
收获：通过升级过低版本的依赖包（kmod-virtualbox），我已经安装好了virtualbox。没白折腾这一天。

我在论坛上看到别人Wine了一个Lingoes词典出来，就用CrossOver来弄。但是安装了lingoes之后，运行程序一点反映都没有，就像没点一样。我已经安装了IE 7，还有VC++ 的运行库，基本上把运行库都安装了，可还是不行。

区别在于度娘倒了还有其他网盘，这公司倒了wine也就没人维护了
