软件更新器无法更新

想升级到14.04,打开软件更新器后老是提示无法联网，提示软件包系统已损坏，建议禁用第三方软件源，然后运行 apt-get install -f.我系统坏掉了吗？

因爲 12.04 與 14.04 都是 LTS 版本 可以直接從 12.04 升級到 14.04

動手前
1. 先 備存 現有作業系統
2. 將 第三方软件源 (包含 PPA) 移到備存目錄 ~/sources.list.d
sudo mv /etc/apt/sources.list.d ~/
3. 按下 alt + F2
輸入 gksudo gedit /etc/update-manager/release-upgrades
找到最下面一行

3-1. 如果你是第一次使用 gksudo
先安裝 gksu 套件
sudo apt-get install gksu
4. 更新你的軟體來源明細
sudo apt-get update
5. 把你已安裝套件 更新到最新版
sudo apt-get upgrade
上面這個指令 如果碰到 相依套件不滿足 會放棄更新
6. 把你已安裝套件 更新到最新版 (這是選項 是否執行 由你決定)
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
上面這個指令 如果碰到 相依套件不滿足
會強制更新 儘可能 下載需要滿足相依條件的套件 移除不滿足條件的套件
所以有風險 有可能失敗 所以這個是 選項

sudo update-manager -d
開始升級程序
注意 因爲 Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 還不是 穩定版 所以加 -d 參數
-d, --devel-release

12. 補充說明
一般升級失敗 最大可能原因之一 就是包含 第三方軟體來源套件升級
因爲 第三方軟體來源套件 並不一定隨着 Ubuntu 的腳步 同步升級
導致 第三方軟體來源套件升級 常常因爲 相依套件問題 而升級失敗
拖累了 整個升級程序
因爲不知 升級程序 進行到哪個步驟 所以很難中途繼續補救
12. sudo mv /etc/apt/sources.list.d ~/
這個指令 就是 移除 第三方軟體來源套件庫 到家目錄備存
已經不會影響升級
等升級完畢 有需要時 再手動 一個一個 加回 第三方軟體來源套件庫
但是 要記得
12-1. 把版本改爲 trusty
12-2. 同時要確認該 第三方軟體來源的 子資料夾 trusty 是否已經建立 (這個也是 爲何要把 第三方軟體來源套件庫 移除的原因)

我原来安装了Gnome 3.10, 又安装了许多gnome 软件，不知道是不是这个原因导致系统变慢。我选的从主服务器下载，这也应该是升级失败的原因。我这次先升级到14.04再安装软件

我又升级到了13.10.不过这次的13.10怎么和上次的不一样？工作区不在右边，还在左边。这次是从12.10直接升级到13.10，而且软件更新器没有提示发现14.10
