java用系统的，越新越好。

export MATLAB_JAVA=/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.5.0-sun/jre
如果你装的是java6（推荐用这个），则路径是
export MATLAB_JAVA=/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun/jre

我用的是最新版的ubuntu，按照你说的方法装了matlab，可是不能启动simulink。

是不是因为你用的ubuntu是6.10而我用的是7.04？
