intel845集成显卡，按照你的办法处理，没有明显效果。

升級內核對某些電腦是會有種種問題的。而且，開機進度條一定會消息的。

如果問題不太樂觀的話，使用我提供的方法b就是了。
不使用GEM，通過Kernel 2.6.28+Intel 2.4的驅動，還是會有一定性能提高的。

用wine玩Ballance的話，好像背景音樂和音效都有點小問題的。VirtualBox下完全沒問題。我喜歡聽那音樂嘛。

GEM是一種針對顯卡的內存管理機製，由Intel開發的，用來取代TTM內存管理機製和傳統內存管理機製。
由於比較年輕，會引起部份問題。

8.04用的是TTM，8.10用的是classic，9.04用的是GEM。

支持一个先｀｀｀好像很强大的说｀｀
不过刚装好ubuntu9.04每几天｀｀｀等过一段日子在折腾｀｀呵呵｀｀

我的本本主板是915GM的，不知道集成的显卡性能怎样啊！！！！
