ubuntu.org.cn的源的速度太慢了。
平均速度只有不到2k，请问哥们你们怎么都能忍受的了呀。你们都采取什么办法？

我1M的ADSL都保持在100k的速度上！~（5个人在用）

我这里有个日本的服务器！ 我用着也都50k的速度！

我的还要快一点，
虽然比不上CN99的8~9百K/S
但通常也有个2~3百K/S
同楼上的一样，也是电信，温州电信
杭州网通的也用过
速度要差不少，
大概是40~50K/S左右，
在杭州我一般是用官方中文源，
有个百来K左右吧！

我靠，不是吧。怎么我的这么慢？我的网速还是很快的。下载最快可以上到700k，但是，apt-get的时候就是很慢，这是为什么？

你使用的肯定不是使用电信的ADSL.
由于其它铁通或联通等ADSL访问电信的网络奇差。没有办法克服。
ping ubuntu.org.cn 是多少？
ping 21cn.com 是多少？

你所说的下载可以到700K是指ubuntu.org.cn吗？
如果不是的话，那是正常的！
不同的网络当然下载速度会不一样了
因为它们经过的路由不一样呀！
如果你下的是你ISP内部的东东
那么700K左右肯定是没问题的！
你的线路是电信还是网通？

64 bytes from 211.167.68.23: icmp_seq=1 ttl=53 time=31.ms
看来访问电信的网络的确很慢，但是我的宽带是网通给装的。
请问有没有安装的好方法？你们下载好的包是不是都自己刻成光盘了，留着以后备用
了？

就是因为这些原因我都是申请的电信的ADSL，你可以试试其它的镜像。
都没有理会下载好的包，我现在安装连光盘都不下，全部从网络上安装。一般在200K的样子。

建议将你的源改成：
http://cn.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu
也就是把你用#注释的us.archive.ubuntu.com改成cn.archive.ubuntu.com
我在用杭州网通的线路时就是这么干的！呵呵！！
应该是你自己网络的问题
