We are pleased to announce that our second Alpha release (Alpha 2) of EFL 1.8 is now available for download at:

http://download.enlightenment.org/new

The relevant components are:

If you are compiling the above, please compile them in the following order:

efl
elementary
emotion_generic_players
evas_generic_loaders

If you have an existing EFL or Elementary install, you may wish to delete its header files and libraries before building the above.

In addition we have also put up early stage Alphas of Enlightenment 0.18 and Terminology 0.4 available here:

We ask people to test builds and functionality at this stage in preparation for full release. Of course there will be bugs, and this is the point at which to weed them out. Please file bug tasks on http://phab.enlightenment.org and we will address them as best as possible for release. Future Alpha and Betas will come.

当初用的时候感觉很漂亮 也很轻 可最后还是卸了 有时候感觉使用不方便 可能配置的不好

期待进debian源.efl响应很快,很流畅

efl是好东西，但是不得不承认enlightenment桌面环境的开发者口味有点怪

不如自己配置的wm。

enlightenment好比是台概念车
远远的看，确实好看新潮
可是真要开起来，有说不出的违和感
记得大三八和楼主说过，自己也不用

老爷机上是必用的，没得选择。
这台概念车的发动机确实很强劲，目前只是还有两个问题：
1、一些相关的扩展插件还没有跟上，比如places和天气等
2、操作感还不够令人满意
