Hello there,
I have recently installed Ubuntu 22.04 LTS on my laptop; and I have been facing some frustrating network connectivity issues. Initially; everything seemed to work fine; but now the Wi-Fi randomly disconnects after a while; and the only way to reconnect is by either restarting the machine or manually turning the Wi-Fi off and on again.
Restarting the network manager service; Updating my system with sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade
Disabling power management for my Wi-Fi adapter by adding wifi.powersave = 2 to the NetworkManager configuration file.
I am not sure if this is related to a driver issue or something else; but I have noticed that the problem occurs more frequently after my laptop wakes up from sleep mode. Also; wired connections via Ethernet do not seem to have any issues; so the problem is limited to Wi-Fi.
Also, I have gone through this post; https://ubuntu.com/server/docs/how-to-set-up-blue-prism-sssd-with-active-directory which definitely helped me out a lot.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues with Ubuntu 22.04? Could it be a bug; or is there something I’ve overlooked in the settings? I am open to any suggestions or fixes that the community might have.
Thank you in advance for your help and assistance.
