解决了！！看二楼！！！！
NVIDIA8400安装完驱动

14.11和14.19版驱动都试了，都不行

startx可以看到nvidia‘s logo 进去正常，但是硬件显示还是vesa，
重启进度条完以后就只有个光标在闪了，只能进命令行模式，重新sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86XXXXXXXX.run后又可以startx
运行这个命令选好了还是一样

sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg

如此反复，xorg.conf如下：

终于搞好了，原来是少了这一步！！！

网上介绍，8400等新的nvidia卡都要做这一步

代码：全选

sudo kate /etc/default/linux-restricted-modules-common

　　最后一行中DISABLED_MODULES参数中添加nv和nvidia_new如下所示：
　　DISABLED_MODULES="nv nvidia_new"

装源里的，还是官方的，都不行呀，我的卡是geforce 6200的

我己經DISABLED_MODULES="nv nvidia_new"

但也是一樣只有第一次能夠 startx, reboot 後就不能進入了!!!!!!!!!!

7.10已经不用这么麻烦了，直接在受限驱动那里选上就可以驱动啦！！！

选受限驱动是不可以的我的是7600的 7.10 提示缺少库文件

先update系统, 就可以了. 我的 570M的专业显卡相当于8600gt的可以直接用受限驱动. 没有问题.
