linux-image-2.6.*-*-i386和linux-image-2.6.*-*-generic区别

默认安装时是-generic的.在新力得里还搜到-i386的，下面是两者的描述.可以看出generic是真对通用处理器的(x86/x86_64),对于intel的32位处理器是不是i386的内核更好些呢?谢谢!
