据HP自己的发布日志，在hplip 3.12.2版时就支持了P1108型号。而19.04桌面版里自带的hplip版本已经到了3.19.1，应该不需要再手动安装更新版本的软件。
如果你用的是服务器版没有预装hplip，手动sudo apt install hplip就行了

我们的经验，在 Ubuntu 18.04/19.04 里，如果 hplip 的版本太新常常会出现依赖的问题。我们从 19.10 开机后，直接由 Ubuntu repository 装就可以了：

sudo apt update && sudo install hplip hplip-gui

之后，执行 hp-setup 就可以自动装设 hp-plugin。
