恩，看过你的帖子了，确实和你的问题比较类似，我当时在移动硬盘上下载了一个WIN PE，然后通过硬盘启动，电脑有反应了，然后再把live cd放进去安装了，电脑能够进入系统了，但是必须插着移动硬盘启动，这次发帖就是为了能够解决这个问题。

250G的那是我的移动硬盘，现在电脑必须要插移动硬盘才能启动，要是拔了就没办法启动了。

原来你是双硬盘启动，而且你的第一快120G的硬盘分区也不合理，把swap、／、没有分开，可惜了120G的硬盘了，你可以在menu.lst中加入如下代码，试试看：

那应该是sda的mbr出错了。

从得到的信息我看不出不能启动的原因，除非你的 bios 有 32g 限制 - stage2 在 102G 处。但是今天的机器不太可能有这个问题。
我也看不出插上移动硬盘就能启动的原因，插上移动硬盘后你应该还是从内置硬盘启动的吧（是吗？），因为看不出可以从你的移动硬盘启动的迹象。

可以试试重装所有 grub 文件，启动后先把移动硬盘卸载拔出，然后
sudo mv /boot/grub /boot/grub-bad
sudo grub-install /dev/sda
sudo update-grub -y
