奇怪,只要我装上了新的显卡驱动,我的OpenOffice就启不来。把xorg.conf中的fglrx改回ati,或者去掉
Section "Extensions"
Option "Composite" "0"
EndSection
再重启,就可以了,但运行fglrxinfo,又认不出显卡了.

我说过的吧,最后添加的一段很重要。
为什么就把它删了呢?
这个是典型的输入法冲突,个人感觉和ati也有关,不过,为了3D加速,就归结到输入法头上好了。
具体操作见wiki新手入门指引-快速设置指南输入法设置部分,安装scim-bridge,并修改/etc/xinit/xinput.d/scim。

我按第二步实行。。
我把下载的驱动放在了桌面。
在执行:
安装驱动
代码:
sudo dpkg -i xorg-driver-fglrx_8.31.5-1*.deb
sudo dpkg -i fglrx-kernel-source_8.31.5-1*.deb
sudo dpkg -i fglrx-control_8.31.5-1*.deb
这里后出现了下面的问题。。

我的是X200显卡,好像是装上了,可惜为什么识别不出来呢?

那个识别不出来又没关系,就是一句话而已,自己都可以随便修改的,甚至我写成nvidia都没人管 :D

如果你按第二种方法,那么请到你放置ati驱动的目录下再执行所有命令。
新手可能不理解,那么就是用cd命令,这样好一点。

另外,sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg的时候,不要按esc!
直接按回车没有用是因为你的光标并不在“确定”上。用TAB,然后回车。
不是所有的都选择“是”,你要自己看英文的。

选择分辨率那步用空格键选择,然后回车确定。

楼主,
我重装了一次系统。
然后更新完以后上来按您的第二攻略去办。
出现下边的问题。
从这里结束以后。
创建deb包
代码:
sudo ln -sf bash /bin/sh
bash ati-driver-installer-8.31.5-x86.x86_64.run --buildpkg Ubuntu/edgy
sudo ln -sf dash /bin/sh
我把代码写入然后回车。然后写入下段。
sudo dpkg -i xorg-driver-fglrx_8.31.5-1*.deb
sudo dpkg -i fglrx-kernel-source_8.31.5-1*.deb
sudo dpkg -i fglrx-control_8.31.5-1*.deb
出现下边的情况
ln: 目标 ‘xorg-driver-fglrx_8.31.5-1*.deb’ 不是目录
eehz@eehz-desktop:~$ sudo dpkg -i fglrx-kernel-source_8.31.5-1*.deb
dpkg:处理 fglrx-kernel-source_8.31.5-1*.deb (--install)时出错:
无法访问打包文件: No such file or directory
在处理时有错误发生:
fglrx-kernel-source_8.31.5-1*.deb

兄弟啊,我说过了,你要用cd到你的那个驱动的目录再执行所有命令阿。
这样吧,你把你的那个下载的驱动目录告诉我。
然后你用 cd /那个目录,然后再执行命令,这样懂了么?
你是不是没用过dos?或者win的cmd?

看到你的短信了,桌面对吧?
那么cd ~/desktop
然后ls
看有没有那个驱动,如果有,那么就开始动手了。
