终端命令问题

上面是当前目录的文件

可是执行命令结果却不同

python-keybinder_0.2.2-2_i386.deb

下面的却不对？
root@shen-VirtualBox:/var/cache/apt/archives# ls terminator
ls: 无法访问 terminator: 没有那个文件或目录


可是我执行

root@shen-VirtualBox:/var/cache/apt/archives# ls partial/
docbook-xsl_1.75.2+dfsg-5_all.deb
openjdk-6-jre-headless_6b20-1.9.9-0ubuntu1~10.10.2_i386.deb
openoffice.org-writer_1%3a3.2.1-7ubuntu1.1_i386.deb

和

root@shen-VirtualBox:/var/cache/apt/archives# ls partial

的结果却是相同的，

的结果为什么不同呢？
(terminator partial都是目录)

转义符，说明其后的空格是文件名中的，而非分隔两个参数

比如说
program a\ b 是对文件名为“a b”的一个文件操作
program a b 是对两个名称分别为a和b的文件操作，或者对a文件执行b参数，这要看程序是怎么写的了
