Linux 3.9内核的第二个候选版本今日发布。这周的内核更新包括WiFi驱动和其他针对整个内核的更新。

Linus Torvalds在周日晚上通过这个邮件列表发布了Linux 3.9-rc2.

这周最凸显的工作是新的无线网络驱动，新的 ASIX AX88179_178A USB千兆以太网控制器驱动，DRM更新，Btrfs文件系统更新，ARM更新和各式各样的其他更新。Linus说这次发布“没有什么吓人的”。

这次内核发布有很多新的特性同时也有一些缺失的功能。

The second release candidate to the Linux 3.9 kernel is now available. Standing out in this week's kernel development update is work on WiFi drivers and other updates throughout kernel-land.

Linus Torvalds released the Linux 3.9-rc2 kernel on Sunday evening through this mailing list message.

Standing out this week were wireless new network drivers, a new ASIX AX88179_178A USB Gigabit Ethernet controller driver, DRM updates, Btrfs updates, ARM updates, and the assortment of other stuff. Linus says there is "nothing horribly scary" with this new release.

There's lots of new features to this next kernel release while there's also some missing functionality.
