发布ghost版ubuntu 8.04.1,基于gnome加上中文支持和少许软件,亦可方便安装于移动硬盘

大东西别用 ie 下，很容易前功尽弃的。用 firefox。记得验证 md5

对对， fierfox 有个插件叫 dwon them all 的 ，很好使！

不得不说，论坛有些强悍，用FF的dwon them all下载非常顺利，一开始就达到200K。

呵呵，我也发现，在 win下用 flash fxp 往论坛 ftp 上传东西，总是断流，还出错；在 ubuntu 下用 gftp 却非常流畅，不知是不是因为论坛用 ubuntu server 的缘故

装上了，也成功了，不过可惜的是刷新频率只有60HZ，800*600。
正在折腾中。

先去 recovery mode 重配一下 x 看看
之前无法以正常方式安装的原因是什么呢

把xfce也装上了，感觉还不错。
网络不好，其它的东西都没装。

晚点设置刷新频率之类的。

之前装不上是因为每次启动的时候都会刷出一片错误提示：
[182.8100] Buffer I/O error on device sda6,logical block 49576320
后面是一连串的这样的东西

搞不明白是什么原因，但最终还是装不上。
去年年底的时候，反复试验，终于有一次，把分区表搞坏，什么系统都进不了。
好不容易用软件救回来，还是没办法装。
最近几天找了个软件检测了一下，才发现是分区表有错误，修复好以后，重新分区，没想到又出现状况，用GHOST安装的时候却把新分出来的那个区识别成临近一个区了。
郁闷N久，搞啊搞啊，搞了一整天，最后，搞定了，装上了。呵呵。

刷新频率就不知道能不能搞定，记得用7.10的时候安装好进去就可以设置的，不知道怎么LZ的这个版本为什么不可以，研究下....

我做这个东西好像很多人不高兴，我也预计到了的。可能会让人联想起 xp 盗版光盘

这样也可以方便原来用盗版xp的新人,虽然90%以上最后会放弃linux,但是至少增加了linux的知名度,支持

谢谢，PT和LZ大大，用过，但好像没什么效果。之前也把xorg.conf打开看过，里面的东西好像和以前的不一样，也没有找到刷新频率等相关的项目。
安装好PT推荐的东西，再打开xorg.conf，文件内容如下，请帮忙再看看：

8.04 用了新的 xorg，确实和以前不大一样了。我也没弄明白。反正 xorg.conf 里头好像没什么东西了。

明显的感觉是，以前装在移动硬盘的系统，在新的机器上启动时，要进 recovery mode 运行一下 dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg 生成新的 xorg.conf 的，现在不需要了，直接就能正常运行。所以 pt 的那个著名脚本我就没有加进去。

进到桌面以后在 系统-首选项-屏幕分辨率 设置分辨率不行吗？ 8.04 的 livecd 启动分辨率是否正常？
能不能列一下你的硬件？
